The period building is truly impressive and adds character. My large room and bathroom were both exceptionally clean, which made for a comfortable stay. The lounge downstairs offered an outstanding selection of free snacks and drinks, including refreshing Irn Bru, which I thoroughly enjoyed while relaxing. I also loved the lovely garden view that added to the serene ambiance of the hotel.
The shower left something to be desired, as the head was quite small for the size of the cubicle.
